Now That's Fishing

Guanacaste, long known as the best Central American fishing destination is living up to that title once again. The Go Fish Crew has been busy keeping anglers pumping and grinding on marlin and sailfish nearly everyday. Yesterday, Go Fish hooked 3 blues well over 300 pound and released a nice 350 or so. Also in the mix were a couple of sails raised as well as a couple of dorado up as well.

Looking Good!

Christopher and Melissa Harbuck spent the day with Go Fish and all was well with the world. We found nice blue water, light winds and some fish. Early in the day we came across a nice pair of big sails and brought them behind the boat for some action. An hour or so later we found the man in the blue jacket. heading south in front of Playa Azul our starboard teaser was massacred by a 350 + pound blue that just couldn't find a hook. Chris' mouse trap pattern kept the monster in the spread for 3 more passes. Sometimes the big boys rule the party whether you like it not! Everyone had a shot on reel with some tuna and a good was had by all. We'll report back for tomorrow's trip.

Tight Lines,
Chris, Peter and the Go Fish Team.

1/2 Day with Jordan Ellis Was Promising

A short 1/2 day with Jordan Ellis brought some action. The bill fish are certainly out in front - we spotted several sails, with one up and a nice sized striped marlin on for a little less than a minute. The water is clearing up and things are looking good. Visit www.gofishcr.com for more information.
